Janet Eastwood

Before becoming an Acupuncturist, Janet was a Physiotherapist and a mum. She decided to train in this wonderful, ancient art of healing following an unsuccessful operation to help with the pain of sciatica, caused by arthritis. It was this experience that showed her how far reaching the effects of Acupuncture can be, not just addressing the pain she was suffering but also helping sleep and reducing anxiety. As well as addressing symptoms such as pain, Acupuncture aims to get to the root of the problem by bringing your own systems into balance.

After completing a full time degree course in Traditional Acupuncture at CTA in Warwick she has continued with regular post graduate training specialising in: Fertility Pregnancy, Pain, Stress Management and Wellbeing.

Janet is now a ‘Zita West’ associate Acupuncturist and a member of ‘Acuregen’ group specialising in Facial Acupuncture to help with improving skin quality, wrinkles, lines and acne scarring.

She has completed various courses including:

  • Korean Hand Therapy
  • Fertility and Assisted Fertility workshops
  • Pain workshops
  • Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture
  • Facial Rejuvenation

During her time at Warwick, Janet also completed a course run by ALIED for physiotherapists to train in Acupuncture especially for pain relief.

Using a variety of East Asian techniques including Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Gua Sha, Cupping, Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture and Korean Hand Therapy, Janet can offer you a complete holistic approach to help with your problems.

She has been privileged to support people with all sorts of complaints and many couples through fertility, pregnancy and post partum. Do take a look at her web site: www.acupuncturejanet.com for testimonials, contact details and more information.

Membership of Professional organisations:

After an initial, in depth assessment, a treatment plan will be discussed with you. Often a course of treatments is needed to bring your body back into balance and help address problems. You may find that regular seasonal top-ups will then help to keep you 'on track'. If you have any questions regarding treatment please do not hesitate to contact the Wishing Well on 01527 570838.
