Hello, my name is Mary, and I am an experienced person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist.
I work with adults and young people aged over 16 years. I offer appointments on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. I offer both short and long-term therapy. You may come for a single session, or as long as feels helpful to you.
I am experienced in working with people struggling with:
- Anxiety and emotional issues
- Bereavement and loss
- Family issues
- Difficult relationships
- People in search of direction in life
- Work-related issues
- Low confidence/self-esteem
- Long-term illnesses
My fees are £45 per 50-minute session.
Why try person-centred counselling with me?
Life can feel really difficult at times. The issues above are all common reasons why a person might try counselling, and all things that might feel too difficult to cope with alone.
I will provide you with a safe, confidential space to help you to talk through and explore the issues that are troubling you. I won’t judge you, no matter what issues you bring to counselling. I will help you to explore the problem, looking at it from different angles, in order to get a greater understanding of yourself and the problem. Together we will find ways in which you can move forward, that are right for you. I will support you through any process of change that you may wish to make. You don’t have to struggle alone.
